...had been a good year for us, despite of all prognoses. The whole Börger Group was growing by almost double digits. The annual turnover maintains to be pleasant. For the first time the turnover grew faster than the quantity of the sold units. One of the reasons could be that there were more replacement purchases. Also the number of larger orders with a higher volume of pumps was lower compared to the previous years. The revised tank business was doing very well during the last year. The newly developed solids-liquid separation 'Bioselect' achieved the acceptance from the market. We were able to recapture the pump market for renewable energy. Especially successful in this market was our Premium Profile-Rotor and the new Powerfeed SSE.
2009 was a years of heavy investments as well. A new assembly hall with 4000 m² was set-up. We have renewed our vehicle fleet and increased our machinery. Furthermore we had some product modifications, improvements and product developments; such as our Rotor Rake and the pump EL 3050 with up to 800 m³/h.
We used the year 2009 to be well-prepared for the future. We see the chance to grow in double-digits for 2010.
