The Börger storage tank consists of individual stainless steel segments (1.5 m x 3.0 m). The individual segments are bolted together vertically overlapped in double-row. In the horizontal impact area, the individual plates are connected flat faced by the surrounding U-profile stabilization sections. The cylindrical wall is bolted onto the even and smooth base foundation and permanently sealed.

Installation of a Börger storage tank:

The following illustrations show a typical installation of a new storage tank.

 

		Procedure: After the roof elements are bolted together, the assembled tank rings are lifted with the aid of a lifting device, and the next ring assembly can be performed.
		In this way, the tank is assembled piece by piece.
		The last tank ring is mounted.
		The Börger storage tank is finished.
		The lifting apparatus required for the installation.
